SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is more info often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level developed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office here to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to help the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
